I wish we could all always be California girls, minus the French bikini, but I will take the palm trees, the sun and the sand, and of course my most favorite ladies in the whole world by my side forever.
Everyday was a new and fantastic adventure. We went to the State Beach and had so much fun dipping our feet in the chilly February ocean water and digging in the sand.
We walked the board walk and chased the pigeons
We ate lots of delicious food, and shopped, and Kylen and Collin had a blast trying on hats and sun glasses. And much to my surprise Collin is quite the little shopper. He ran in one store, only to turn around and run right to the next, keeping up a pace I could hardly compete with. He hid in clothing racks and laughed hysterically when he was spotted. We played with all the fun gimmicks found in malls for kids, and Collin would cast a look as if to say "look at me, you wish you could be having this much fun".
we picnicked, and investigated many of the local kid friendly parks, we rode a carousel, which Collin found to be extremely intimidating, and Kylen couldn't get enough of the beautiful horses and all their stunning, very glittery jewelry. She pointed and cooed in delight with every up and down and turn of the carousel. We rode on Collin's favorite train, only this time he was less enthusiastic about the train itself, and more intrigued by all of the bystanders and their pets.
We investigated many water fountains, to help ignite Collin's current favorite passion, water. And we went to the local Children's Museum where Collin engaged in imaginative tea party's, fulfilled more of his love for digging in the sand, played with water and explored all the sights with a passion.
We celebrated Nicole's 25th birthday..."Happy, HAPPY Birthday" Nicole! xoxoxo
Everyday was a blast and such a treat to wake up with and spend the entire day with my most favorite ladies. We packed in so much fun, we all went to bed exhausted each day and we can't wait until next time to do it again. Thanks for being such a wonderful Mama and flying us all out there, and a big super thanks to G-pa for putting up with a house full of women and a little man.
