Each night after story time and a lullaby goodnight, I lay Collin in his crib and he babbles a sweet goodnight.
Just as I think he is peacefully nodding off to sleep and I can sneak out quietly, he sits back up, reaches out his arms for one last hug and gently gives me a kiss through the bars of his crib and my heart simply melts.
MOTHERHOOD is the best job on earth.
