We traveled across the pacific, 2788 miles for a serious dose of Vitamin D.
And other than a mild dose of keiki influenza, and Kaylie’s usual creed:
this years tropical get-a-way, was far less dramatic than last.

Upon arriving, we couldn’t wait to run our wiggles away and head straight for the beach.
This is our amazing wrap around Lanai, over looking the Koolau mountain range and a view of the ocean. It made for some fantastic cocktail hours, and a great get-a-way for the early 5 am wake-up calls. Thanks Grandma for always being on duty!
We spent everyday soaking up vitamin D, and getting as sandy as possible.
more water, more sand. not much to say when your in tropical paradise digging and drifting away.
We rode the pink line trolley around Waikiki to take in the sights, the shopping, and for Collin to take a “quick pause”. He denied ever being tired, and definitely never needed a nap. ;)
We went on an amazing sunset catamaran, enjoyed cocktails and some serious waves. We were entirely soaked and Collin thought that was “just incredible!” –Thanks again grandma for all the spoils.
We shopped for keiki souvenirs.
And helped a man to hold his bird.
Collin: “Why did that man think he needed help mama? I am happy to have helped him. Do you think he will need my help again?” –Just maybe Collin. Tips speak loudly, very load my little keiki island joy.
We dinned on super delicious island cuisine
And my absolute favorite, never leave the island without it, I would travel the 2788 miles just for a slice of it, Hula Mula pie!
HHMMMM, fantastically delicious!
We enjoyed the night life and snuck in a few date nights.
Details of date nights remain classified.
We fed the birds, all gazillion of them, including the ones that aggressively flew at our heads while fine dining outdoors.
Fed the enormous tropical fish, all the while trying not to loose a child into the fishy waters.
Relaxed and enjoyed every aspect of the tropical island, Briefly wondering what life may have been like living in paradise.
Until next time Tyler invites us to tag along on one of his monthly Island adventures I’ll continue to fantasize of the lush palm trees gently blowing in the wind, the turquoise waves, the salty air, the sweet sent of gardenia, the warming temps, the dearly missed rays of light, the exquisite pineapple, the … …. …
