Christmas pictures…better late than never. Prior to our Christmas departure, lake Washington found it’s way into our entryway via the upstairs master bath so we have been busy manning the repairs.
This Christmas we packed up our clave, every little nook and cranny, loaded up with Christmas cheer and headed over the hills, through the forest, and off to aunties and Grammy's house we went.
On the Eve, Eve of our trip,Santa and his helpers sent Collin and Kaylie a letter inviting us to Santa’s workshop arriving via his train.
Upon our arrival Santa’s helpers had cookies, coco, and a village of play trains. Collin was so excited to tell Santa how much he enjoyed his train ride and cookies, and Kaylie…well her oppinion of Santa remains the same.
After 22 hours of buckled in bliss, I use that term very loosely, one spilt car potty, seriously, urine everywhere, a couple of ice storms, and a tantrum or two later, we arrived in the beautiful colorful state….or so they say. It looked rather brown to us, but the smiling faces that greeted us made our trek feel like we reached a giant pot of gold.
We had so many yummy afternoons packed with delicious eats, good laughs, and family fun. Included in the good times was another fantastic trip to Cola’s farm.
And the magic of Christmas was overwhelmingly wonderful when Santa popped in prior to Christmas eve for a quick chuckle and a giant “Ho-Ho-Ho.”
I love this picture. The element of surprise.
And Christmas finally arrived. We had a giant celebration that started at sunrise and lasted for two fabulous days.
Beautiful miss Kaylie.
We had more magic box rides, scavenger hunts, dress up and everything so wonderfully toddler in between.
And again, celebrated another year older, a few more wrinkles and a couple of grays.
We had a baking party and Collin was convinced he was making me the most beautiful, delicious cake I have ever had.
And it was delicious. Deliciously cute.
Great Grandma flew in for some added Christmas Cheer
And Tyler and I were treated to a wonderful overnight getaway that included some much needed R&R, messages, and ice skating.
and I’d be punished if I forgot to mention the boys trip to the Broncos game.
We had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends, and like always until next time we MISS YOU!……come visit us!

Such wonderful pictures of your whole family. Great seeing you girls.
