and we had a fabulously marvelous time.
Grandmas are amazingly wonderful. They spoil you rotten full of love. They care for you until no end, giving you their entire heart and the beautiful gift of time. They also provide you with tons of things they believe you absolutely need, like lots of new toys, clothes, books, and not to mention all of the yummy food, including an abundance of delicious, sugary treats...more sugar than any two year old should ever have.
We shared many priceless days with Grandma and Grandpa and our agenda was full of special moments.
We went to the Hallow park zoo, rode the rides, and saw the animals -Collins favorite part was the roller coaster and the monkey who ate the fly.
We were lucky enough to celebrate Easter with Grandma and Grandpa and had an impromptu visit with the Easter bunny. The kids loved him and Collin was so excited to share the fact that he loves bubbles and was hoping for a few in his Easter basket. -Thank you bunny for delivering!
We participated in the neighborhood egg hunt, just another opportunity for Collin to fill up on sugar and his basket was loaded. The egg hung was full of excitement and so was the the train wreck after the sugar high.
We joined the community to further celebrate Easter with body painting, bouncing, and a trip to the candy store.
We celebrated Grandma's thirty something birthday, again. -You look great Grandma!
Happy birthday!
We made cookies
Picked lemons and oranges and developed a new excitement for eating them.
We also discovered that they make fantastic balls. Hopefully we'll forget that one before our next trip to the grocery store.
Collin enjoyed dressing up as Scooby-Do. "Chase me, chase me" he would call out as he chased his own tail and barked like a dog, running like crazy throughout the house. He even enjoyed a walk through the park with a "leash." Grandma was super worried the neighbors would call CPS.
We relaxed, built fires, played music and went for bike rides.
And at the end of each day, each kiddo was exhausted and somehow between sun down and sun rise Collin and Kaylie found their way into my bed. We snuggled up tight together and with the morning light Collin would kiss my eyelids and say "wake-up sleepy mama, wake-up" and as I opened my eyes, there were my two beautiful children smiling cheerfully, ready for another delightful day.
Grandma's was wonderful. Stock piled full of precious moments to tuck away in my heart and remember forever.
Until next time Grandma, we love you.
