Happy Weekend

We hope you had a fabulous week.

Ours was nothing short of entertaining, but then again when is life ever dull with a two year old and a baby?

We scrubbed off the grimy dirt behind our ears after playing outdoors.

We bounced and yelled "FUN!" the entire time! And mommy was grateful for what was planed to be a super long nap, but Collin had other ideas that  afternoon that definitely did not include watching the back of his eyelids.

Kaylie has also found a new freedom of bouncing.

We worked in the yard and fixed things around the house just like daddy does, and just like when daddy makes mistakes Colin made one or two himself and yelled out "darn it!" ... "Oh Crap" ......better than the alternative.

And for the  love of heavy machinery, what would a week be without front loaders, cranes, and other superb tractors that light up a little boys world? We watched tractors scoop, and dig, and roll the ground flat preparing for new homes. We watched for hours, Literally ALL morning. And as Collin watched in total captivation a grown man approached Collin: "stay in school young man so that you do not have to be a paver" ...as he winked at me with with sweat in his brow, dirt under his fingernails.

Collin's response "Can we sit on the tractor mama? Please, you ask"  as he pushes me towards the man with an eager look.

And in between all the charming toddler-hood moments there were a few tears.

But we had a wonderful week and hope yours was just as delightful.
